Day 9 - Aviemore parkrun and Osprey Centre
Finally our holiday has come to an end and this will be my last post. We are now safely back in Burley in Wharfedale, after a mammoth six and a half hour journey back. I was very relieved to have taken the Monday off work too, to be able to recover and get ourselves organised Looking back at Saturday, the morning was pretty much the same weather outlook as the rest of the week, but it improved extremely quickly. Weather outlook this morning I was out the door at about 8:30am to cycle down to the parkrun which has recently set up in Aviemore. I had volunteered to help them out, and for some reason they had asked us to be there for 8:45am, when the run didn't start until 9:30am. I got down fairly easily and located the group in the car park as instructed. I was able to chat to quite a few people before the start. In the end they insisted I run the course rather than be a tail runner. The competitive side in me came through, and I finished a comfortable second, out o
